Quite often we get caught up in the ‘grown up’ things that the iPad can do but there are a lot of things happening for the younger crowd out there too. Our app of the day today proves that point. Here we are going to profile a brand new app for toddlers and it’s one that you don’t wanna miss (even as an adult).
Interactive Alphabet: An iPad App For Toddlers
The great folks over at Pi’ikea Street have launched a new iPad app for toddlers. It is called Interactive Alphabet and they really mean it when they say interactive. If you have a toddler then you know that you can spend a lot of money on games and books while they are exploring and learning. How about just $2.99 for hours of entertainment, learning, and fun?
Basically, Interactive Alphabet lets your toddler learn the alphabet with colorful, musical and interactive illustrated flash cards. This iPad app for toddlers is not only the perfect way to learn the alphabet but it gets them involved by using animation, sound, and color. All 26 letters are represented by an animated graphic which you can interact with. It’s fun to see what each illustration will do when you swipe or tap on it. An example is the letter “T”. It is represented by a train and if you tap on the train it will make sounds and zoom along on its track.
There is also a great musical soundtrack of 3 different songs or you can turn off the music altogether. The thing I like about this entire app for toddlers is the way it was so well thought out for kids. It isn’t just a bunch of letters, it’s a full interaction that helps them learn on a few different levels.

Perhaps you don’t have any toddlers for this great iPad app. Did you know that you can gift an app to someone? You sure can. I do it all of the time for contests. If you want to give an app as a gift, you simply find the app in the iTunes app store, click on the down arrow next to the price and select “Gift This App”. Enter your billing information and that’s it. They get a great gift!
Our Giveway
We are giving away 3 copies of Interactive alphabet for FREE to celebrate the launch. Just leave a comment below in our comments section and I’ll be picking 3 random names in the next few days.

I have 3 kids, all under the age of 6 so this app would be brilliant for them
Looks like a good app! Another way to integrate this device into your everday life…
Excellent! It’s a great app and definitely perfect fit the younger kids!! I’ll be picking a few names tomorrow!
Yeah. It is definitely well designed and very educational for the young kids!! I’ll be picking a few winners tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by too!
My two year old would love this
With six nephews and nieces in this age range I can keep at least one busy for hours. LOL
Wow! That’s a lot of entertainment to have to provide Robert! I can’t imagine what holidays are like
My 20 month old would love this – but I don’t know how I feel about getting him used to playing with the iPad. He has a tendency to throw things off the second story deck when he’s done with them!
That’s funny…in a visual sort of way! Perhaps you would just point and let him watch! Yet, the flatness of the iPad may help it survive the throw!
Your kidding, right? My ipad comes tomorrow, I would love a give away
Nope! Not kidding at all! I’ll be drawing some names tonight! And thanks al for stopping by too!
That would be a great app to help my son who is starting Kindergarten soon

I do agree with all of the concepts you have offered on your post. They’re really convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for starters. May just you please extend them a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
Thank you for another fantastic post. Where else could anyone get that kind of info in such a perfect way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information.
