Adobe is one of the premiere photography software companies and now it has brought its industry standard Photoshop application to the iPad. This version doesn’t have a camera, you will have to sync some pictures you’ve already taken. When it loads you have to select a picture to edit and from there you can do a number of cool things to enhance what your camera has already achieved.
The most basic function are things like cropping and adding borders and on a more professional level you can adjust brightness, saturation and contrast. You can also add preset effect in a very simple way too. You can save your creations back to your picture library or upload them to Photoshop online (but this requires a membership). If we’re totally honest there are far more advanced image editing apps on the store, though we doubt any are as polished as Adobe’s offering. The app is so easy to use that you can fumble your way into expertly enhancing your pictures without trying too hard. If you have used the desktop Photoshop app, however, then this will fall far short of your initial expectations.

I use Photoshop Express on my iPad all the time. It also processes Camera Raw files, which is a bonus, as I shoot exclusively raw files. I was recently on an extended holiday abroad. I only had my iPad, camera and camera connector. I took over 1000 photos while on my holiday and was really happy with the results from Photoshop Express. When you’re on holiday, you don’t want too many options.
Using Photoshop Express you can also email the photos to your Facebook business page, which is a bonus for those who want to keep their personal and business pages separate.
I’ve got a few more tips about using the iPad for traveling and backing up photos if you’re interested: http://www.imagemaven.com/ipad-part-4/
So how do I send several pictures at one time instead of sending them one at a time which takes forever?
