Doctor Who Comics

Time And Relative Dimensions In Your Pocket

The resurgence in popularity of Doctor Who has been phenomenal. The BBC’s willingness to put budget into rebooting the series has paid off many times over as as an inspired selection of Doctors up to and including present TARDIS incumbent, the excellent Matt Smith. You can’t move in toy departments these days for Doctor Who action figures and replica sonic screwdrivers. IDW Publishing were tasked with coming up with all new comic book adventures for the Doctor and did an equally excellent .job. Now the whole entire series is available to read on your iPad. Each comic page is available to view in its entirety in portrait mode or hold your device in landscape and you get a close up frame by frame which is by far the easiest way to read it on the’ Pad screen. Just swipe to move on to the next panel.

The app comes with three free comics and they’re all of very high quality. The problem is additional comics will set you back £1.19 each which is a bit on the steep side. For that reason this is for hardcore fans of the Doc only.
