Easily VNC for free with PocketCloud!

Since the dawn of iOS/Android developers have been pushing VNC clients to the app store and the android market.  There are all sorts of options that conform to all different price ranges.  In this post we’re going to introduce you to a VNC app that falls in the best price range of all, free!  Whether you work on a Mac, PC, or Linux system you’ll love the simple setup and clean interface of “PocketCloud”.

To get PocketCloud up and running, simply download the app from Wyse Technology to your iPad or Android tablet and then install their desktop companion on your machine.  Enter your Google address in both apps, and PocketCloud will auto-discover your desktop.  Simply insert your pre-selected password, and the two should connect.  You are now ready to start controlling your clunky tower or laptop from the sleek screen of your tablet.

Within PocketCloud you’ll have ‘pinch-to-zoom’ capability, as well as an onscreen keyboard, an intuitive cursor, and the option to save screenshots to your photo library.

Though PocketCloud might not be the best VNC app on the market, it does pack a lot of punch for being a free app.  Cross-platform support, easy setup, and an intuitive interface are three great reasons to try it out!  If you really like the PocketCloud experience you can gain even more features by upgrading to PocketCloud Pro.
