CES, the Consumer Electronics Show is happening this week in Las Vegas and there over rumored to be over 30 tablets set to hit the market. Wow. Some say they won’t deliver and some say they are really great devices that will overtake the iPad.
A First Look At Android Honeycomb
Google has officially unveiled “Honeycomb” the Google Android 3.0 version built “entirely for tablets“, developed from the ground-up to support tablet specific features like larger screen displays and better multi-tasking capabilities the new version will be featuring a brand new, truly virtual and holographic user interface, refined multi-tasking, elegant notifications, access to over 100,000 apps on Android Market, home screen customization with a new 3D experience, more richer and interactive widgets, and powerful upgrades to the web-browser.
Here is the video preview of Honeycomb. What do you think? Compelling or not that interesting?

Hard to assess with the short video, but it looks interesting. I hope it’s good and competitive to iOS. Competition will only improve iOS for our iPads.
Hi Roland,
That’s actually a really good point – the better Android is, the better we all do with iOS. I think we will see a lot of these features in iPad 2 but there will always be another tablet with another new thing….
