If you have an iPad or an iPad 2, Apple has just released their iOS 4.3.2 software update. The update appears to fix several issues that users have been having the past few weeks with their iPad 2 specifically. Here’s what the 4.3.2 update addresses.
iOS 4.3.2 For iPad and iPad 2 Fixes And Features
As promised, Apple has issues their iOS 4.3.2 update for your iPad and iPad 2. The good news is that this fixes some issues people are having but does not add a lot of new features. Here is what the current update addresses:
- Fixes issues that may have been causing FaceTime calls to freeze or go blank
- Resolves issues that might have prevented some international users from connecting to 3G
- Includes a whole bunch of security updates as outlined here
You should notice this update the next time you plug your iPad or iPad 2 into your computer and if you do then go ahead and let it do it’s usual backup and then update. If you do update let us know in the comments how it went and if you had any issues or any issues resolved.

In my case the update was ok.
I had no problem while updating my ipad2.
Excellent….thanks Neimar!
I bought my iPad 1 the week of the ipad 2 release. Worked like a dream until ios 4.3. Lost the ability to find any wifi networks as well as experiencing a very rapid battery drain that only got worse when my iPad went to sleep. With 4.3.2, the battery seems to be back to normal pace on usage, but I still can’t locate a single wifi network. Bummer. I had a fully operational iPad for less than a week out of the month or so since I bought it.
So, assuming it works the same across the board for everyone, battery issues are fixed, but seemingly not wifi issues.
Hi Jacob…thanks a ton for the comment.
First of all, I’m sorry to hear about the WiFi experience. I’m glad the battery is better but that still does not solve the wifi not connecting. So, are you finding that it will not see wi fi networks at all (even if you are close to them) or are you seeing them but it drops and loses connections?
