iPad App Of The Day | Share Multiple Gmail Accounts On One iPad With Mailboxes

Ever wanted to share your iPad with your family but needed a way to access multiple mail accounts?  Now you can with Mailboxes.  Read on to see how you can share email and keep it private…

Our iPad App Of the Day is called Mailboxes ($2.99) and and it lets you share your iPad without having to share your Gmail as well.  Mailboxes provides an easy way for everyone using the same iPad by storing Gmail and/or Google Apps account details securely.  You can passcode lock each Gmail account so that no one else can see it or access it in any way.

A newly updated feature is offline reading.  Mailboxes uses Gmail’s HTML5 based storage so you can read all your email even if you are not connected to the Internet.

Also, this app provides a feature for fast switching between multiple Gmail accounts. One other nice feature is that it provides a really nice optimized web interface that takes advantage of the iPad’s larger screen size.

Check out Mailboxes, our iPad app of the day if you want to share your iPad but don’t want to share your private email!
