Let’s say you use Google’s calendar application and you have it all configured with appointments and tasks and reminders. Now let’s say that you like to use that calendar and you don’t want to use the calendar app on the iPad. There have been quite a few complaints about the iPad’s calendar app so here is another solution that is even better.
Sync Google Calendar With iPad
Cloud Calendar is a new iPad calendar app that was made with one thing in mind. To sync with Google calendar. You can use Cloud Calendar as a standalone application or you can seamlessly sync with Google calendar.
With Cloud Calendar you can do all of the same things you can do in Google calendar such as add, edit, and delete events and calendars online or offline. Additionally Cloud Calendar supports all four views including day, week, month, and list. If you are in a month view, all you need to do is tap on a day to create a new event. This is then synced automatically to your Google Calendar.
Cloud Calendar is the perfect way to sync your iPad with Google calendar and for $2.99 the features are pretty impressive.
After using this app for about 30 minutes I could see the benefits of it. It is a great calendar app that is probably most beneficial if you are a heavy user of Google Calendar. The sync worked very well and this means you don’t really have to do anything special to get it all working. If you are looking for a way to sync your iPad with Google calendar I would check this out.

Just some feedback. I noticed that the first link in your article leads to Google Docs instead of Google Sites…
David,
Thank you much! I appreciate it. I’ll correct that now.
I purchased the Cloud Calendar app for the Ipad 2, but am curious if events that I create in Cloud Calendar on my iPad 2 are then synced so I can see them on my Google Calendar online? So far I cannot see any of the events that were created on the iPad itself on the Google Calendar.
Thanks!
