Apple reported it’s 3rd Quarter results today and there were some significant iPad news items in there as well. Here are the highlights from their most current financials:
- Apple has sold 3.27 million iPads, nearly matching the 3.47 million Macs sold
- Posted a record profit of $3.25 billion
- Mac sales are up 33%
- iPhone 4 Sales are up to 8.4 million
- 52% of their sales are International
Steve Jobs was also quoted as saying, “we have amazing new products still to come this year.”
This was their best quarter to date and you can see why with 2 major product launches and International sales heating up! Let’s see what the rest of the year holds as we prepare for iOS 4 for the iPad and of course the back-to-school/holiday season arriving!
