This iPad sleeve review introduces you to the Switcheasy Ribcage. The first iPad sleeve that looks like a body part…
The Switcheasy Ribcage iPad sleeve is truly unique. It is an iPad sleeve that is made out of a protective faux leather with a soft lining for protection. The front of the sleeve has a specially engineered reinforced tough panel. It is designed to protect the screen and it just so happens that it resembles a ribcage. The “bone like” structure is made to protect your iPad screen against accidental bumps.
The Ribcage iPad sleeve also come with the following extras at no additional cost:
- Two portable fold-out stands
- One anti-static Screen Guard
- One Microfiber Wipe
- One Squeegee for your Screen Guard application
For $34.99 that’s a pretty nice set of items that you get. The stands are really handy and they work perfect. I also liked the little cloth because you can never have enough of those. I didn’t try the squeegee for the screenguard but it looked like a very handy thing to have for even more protection. I’ll admit that the Ribcage looks pretty darn cool – I am sure that people will notice it and it also “feels” very well made and of high quality.
The other nice thing about this sleeve is that the “ribs” are perfect for holding onto. Your fingers fit nicely right into the ribs and it helps you keep a tighter grip. It’s a fairly tight fit at first, but over time I’m sure the iPad will loosen it up and bit and it will fit in there perfectly well.
