For copyright reasons, they’re not angry…
It’s inevitable that a game like Angry Birds will have some Imitators, and this seems like a prime example. Look beyond the superficial similarities though, and you’ll find some nifty ideas. For example, you can see the trajectory of your previous shot, avoiding the scatter-gun approach that could result on Angry Birds’more difficult stages. There’s also more scope for more creative level designs, with touches like the ability to fire your variously skilled ‘ammo; some of which have properties such as setting fire to wooden structures, which is rather handy.
But even with these in its favour, the game lacks the immediacy of Angry Birds. It seems to have a much steeper learning curve, and is burdened by the presence of friendly characters who must not be killed. In a game that’s built around randomness, such precision is frustrating.
