Discover a whole new world of music courtesy of your Twitter and YouTube followers.
Recollect For iPhone : Spotify has music recommendation sorted with its Facebook integration, but when it comes to Twitter, music discovery hasn’t had much attention. In steps Recollect, which uses a Newsstand-like shelf to display album covers of new music your friends have shared on Twitter, and other networks like YouTube. To see who shared a piece of music, just tap the album cover, and the pop-up shows you the username, as well as options to collect the song in your folder, retweet, reply, or buy from iTunes. Simply scroll along the shelf to see more recommendations, and hit the refresh button to repopulate your shelf. It’s just as easy to share music you’re interested in, too. Choose Playing, select a song, then write a brief recommendation, and tweet it. Recollect is useful but it’s a shame you can’t listen to whole tracks.
