Osmos isn’t just any game.  It is a physics-based game that includes an amazing soundtrack, a beautiful layout and a very well thought out strategy.  Osmos may look simple but that is what makes this game so unique.  The complexity lies in the concept not the actual game play.  You will quickly see why this is the top ipad game app.

The premise of Osmos is this:  your objective is to grow by absorbing other ‘motes’ and propel yourself by ejecting matter behind you. But, be aware, ejecting matter also shrinks you!  So here is the strategic part.  You have to be aware of color and gravity and everything around you because sometimes it might not make sense to absorb, or go too far, or it might put you at risk.

The game is definitely one that you will pick up, play, put down, and then go back to over and over once you get the hang of it.  It is a mindful app that really shows off the some of the best uses of the iPad.
