While most hoaxes are jut plain crazy, here are 3 iPad hoaxes that people actually believed were true…
iCade – iPad Arcade Cabinet
Think Geek introduced this on April 1st. The thing is, it was so believable because of how real it looks and because you didn’t know it was a hoax until you clicked the “buy now” button. People still land here and send this around showing others as if it’s real.
iPad Steering Wheel Hoax
If USA Today can be duped by this one, then you know it has to be good. Apparently, there were “fake” reports about a steering wheel mount for the iPad and as the stories and rumors started to increase, USA today posted a story that said, “Is Mounting Your Apple iPad On a Streeting Wheel Safe?”
Jason Calcanis’s iPad Hoax
On the eve of the announcement of the iPad, Jason Calcanis sent out a tweet that he had one of the new iPad and talked about how it had solar panels, fingerprint identification, and two built-in cameras. Apparently, it got picked up by other tech and gadget blogs including this one. They did not know whether it was a hoax or a true iPad Sploiler!
Do You have any iPad stories you thought were true but turned out to be a hoax?

How about the iPhone HOAX. You know the one about the antennae?
LOL. Yeah…I could have made this go on forever with hoaxes….which, would have actually been fun!
